TRANSPLANT GAMES
BE A PART OF IT!
The Manchester Adults Team includes kidney transplant recipients from Lancashire and South Cumbria, Manchester and North Cheshire and welcomes new members of any age or sporting ability to take part in the Transplant Games, it might even inspire you to take up something new! There are also satellite events through the year, including Volleyball, Golf and a Racquets tournament. It is a unique opportunity to share in giving thanks to all donor families, to demonstrate the healthy and active lifestyle that can be achieved after transplantation and to raise awareness of organ donation.
I am keen to build up our team membership, in order to do this I need your help! A wide range of sports are catered for but it’s the taking part that counts. The whole experience is a celebration and is about fun, friendship, great camaraderie between teams and living life to the full!
