Plymouth Team

The Plymouth team currently consists predominantly of kidney transplant recipients who have had their transplant operation carried out at the South West Transplant Centre, Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, although other organ transplantees are welcome. This includes people living in Cornwall, parts of Devon and parts of Dorset.

The team have regular "get togethers" and meetings throughout the year, including the annual Xmas party. Husbands, wives, partners and friends are welcome and are "members" of the team.

We send a team to the British Transplant Games each year. Last year (2012) the team were successful in gaining fourteen  Gold medals, six Silver medals, 5 Bronze medals and 1 Trophy.

The Team was also successful in gaining Silver medals in the five a side football competition losing to penalties in the Final.

This year (2013) the British Transplant Games are being held in Sheffield between 15th August – 18th August 2013.
